Harriet specializes in teaching beginners that they CAN machine quilt on their home sewing machines!
Harriet will teach you machine quilting techniques that will turn your quilt tops into heirlooms in a fraction of the time it would take you to hand quilt them. The beginning of this two-day class is a lecture with a thorough discussion of preparing the quilt top for quilting, workspace, threads, needles, etc. You'll get valuable information which will help you avoid machine quilting pitfalls along the way.
During the hands-on part of the workshop, you'll develop machine-quilting skills and learn different methods of quilting, all the way from ditch quilting with a walking foot to free-motion feathers.
This two-day workshop will encourage and excite you, giving you the confidence and
foundation to become a great machine quilter!
This class will fill quickly—20 person limit!
Registration begins at the August Guild Meeting.
Payment is required upon registration.

Please note: Owners of machines with a stitch regulating foot for free-motion quilting
will not have the opportunity to use that foot in this class.
