Convergence Quilts Made Easy

May 15 @ 9:00 am

Teacher Debbie Warner is from Corona, California. A familiar face to many, she is a longtime friend of LQG member Dana Thompson and has attended our quilt retreats for the past 6 years. She loves coming to the retreats and enjoys the beautiful setting and friends. She was inspired by Ricky Tims’ method and made her own spin on the Convergence technique.

What is a Convergence Quilt? It’s a technique by Ricky Tims using coordinating and contrasting fabrics that are sewn, cut, rearranged, and sewn back together for unexpected results.

Debbie has taught this class at her local guild and will bring many quilts that she has made.
Her signature convergence quilt “Nova Bloom” was on display for the Southern California Council of Quilt Guilds at the Road 2 California in 2018.

Come join her and bring your contrasting fabrics to learn this technique with surprising and unexpected results! Hope to see you there!

Workshop cost is $30 with $5 pattern fee payable to instructor at time of class.
