9:00 am: March Retreat at the Moose

March 8, 2024

The Retreat Committee has been hard at work creating wonderful opportunities for you to have uninterrupted sewing time at our wonderful “escapes”! That’s right, no cooking or cleaning or other distractions...just sewing with some of the most fun people you can imagine. If you have never attended one of the Longmont Quilt Guild Retreats, please consider making 2024 the year to begin!

And don’t forget that the LQG has Scholarship Funds available for anyone needing assistance. Please contact Judy Cabot (j3intampa@yahoo.com) or another board member for further information.

Retreat registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis so don’t delay as our popular retreats fill up quickly. Once we reach capacity, we will maintain a wait list. Please don’t despair if you find yourself on this list. Things have a way of working out.

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Longmont Quilt Guild is:

  • To preserve and continue the traditions and history of the art of quilting, quilt making, and related hand arts.
  • To develop and contribute to new approaches to quilting.
  • To expand the knowledge of quilting and educate those interested in the background and skills of quilting.
  • To contribute to community education and appreciation of the art of quilting.
  • To provide community outreach projects available for member participation.

We value all quilt makers and enthusiasts, regardless of skill level, enjoyment level, or style type. Quilting is an artform that thrives on ideas, and we strive to share those ideas and learn from each other to further each individual's journey in the craft.
