Block of the Month

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our Guild’s block-of-the-month is a fun, voluntary program where you can make one or more blocks and enter them in a drawing at the meeting where you could win them all. All blocks are 12-1/2″ unfinished. We hand out printed directions at the meeting prior to when a particular block is due and instructions are posted here. This is a great way to use up your scraps! You could also sew along during the month to make yourself a sampler quilt since the blocks are all the same finished size.

If you want to try new blocks but don’t want another project we will have a donation box for your blocks and any orphan blocks you are not going to use. We will give them to outreach.

Click below for the last few months of Block of the Month patterns: Note that a reminder will be sent out by the president each month. Drawings are held during our monthly Zoom meetings.

To have your block included in the monthly drawing please:
1. Have your name attached to each block you enter
2. Take your block and put in the tote at either Martha Jurey’s or Kathy Welch’s house.
If you have any questions please call or text Ruth Renfro or email Karen Peterson.
If you have orphan blocks or do not want be included in the lottery drawing you can donate to outreach, either direct to Nancy Clair or to Ruth Renfro and she will get them to Nancy.
