I made this quilt to remember the street I lived on for 30 years. I appliqued the borders with lots of the activities we have done together in the neighborhood…car races, block parties, haunted houses and our big Christmas light displays. I finished it right before our Going Away party and all my “Freibors” (that’s a neighbor who is also your friend) autographed their house for me, not that I’ll ever forget them![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”5658″][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”5878,5879″ img_size=”600×600″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”A Quilt for Cindy” font_container=”tag:h3|font_size:23|text_align:center”][vc_zigzag][vc_column_text]                 Pieced By     Dana Thompson

I used my scraps and the string piecing technique which I learned from my mother Beverly Dunivent to produce this quilt that will be gifted to my childhood friend Cindy. I can’t wait to give it to her for her birthday in December![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”5654″][vc_gallery type=”nivo” interval=”3″ images=”5874,5875″ img_size=”1000×1000″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator border_width=”4″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”5647″][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”5882,5883″ img_size=”600×600″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”Happy Trails” font_container=”tag:h3|font_size:23|text_align:center”][vc_zigzag][vc_column_text]Pieced By     Becky O’Rourke

This quilt was made following the pattern on Missouri Star’s YouTube video “Happy Trails”. The pattern uses just two charm packs for all the snails trails blocks which was perfect since I’d been stumped about how to use these lovely Moda Rambling Rose charm squares because I had only two packs of them. I quilted it on my 9″ Juki on a Little Gracie Frame and was pleased that I found ways to do the quilting I really wanted to do within the limited quilting space I had.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator border_width=”4″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”5876,5877″ img_size=”600×600″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”Seurat” font_container=”tag:h3|font_size:23|text_align:center”][vc_zigzag][vc_column_text]Pieced By     Beth Couch

This fabric line is inspired by the French painter Georges Seurat who specialized in painting with small dots of color. The small, crumb piecing is my quilting representation of that style. Original design using the sister’s choice block.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator border_width=”4″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”5880,5881″ img_size=”600×600″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”Bailey’s Halloween Boo!” font_container=”tag:h3|font_size:23|text_align:center”][vc_zigzag][vc_column_text]Pieced By     Sharon Kaiser

Bailey is my granddaughter. I wanted to do something bright and cheery for her with a theme. Every pumpkin she saw was “Boo”. Started collecting fat quarters of Halloween material. This is the final edition!![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”5884,5885″ img_size=”600×600″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”Moose Among the Pines” font_container=”tag:h3|font_size:23|text_align:center”][vc_zigzag][vc_column_text]Pieced By     Diane Arnett

Every Fall I go with 3 H.S. friends on a 5-day Quilt Retreat to a cabin near Shadow Mt. Reservoir. Often we have Elk & Moose wander right by the house grazing on grass. This quilt reminds me of our relaxing and fun time together in the out-of-doors. But actually, the love of watching such magnificent animals goes back even further, as we all 4 grew up outside of Evergreen many years ago when there was more wildlife than people in the area. Pattern is by Lori Jonker[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator border_width=”4″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
